Our Take
6th Street Burger opened in 2025 at Santa Clara and Sixth streets, across from San Jose City Hall, and has drawn plenty of attention from local press. Patties are a Wagyu beef blend, the cheese is a "New School American" made from aged cheddar, and the buns are Martin's potato rolls shipped from Pennsylvania.
Burgers come as singles, doubles or triples, and the menu also has hot dogs, a fried bologna sandwich and smashed burger tacos. Milkshakes are made with Marianne's Ice Cream from Santa Cruz, and a giant TV makes it an easy place to catch a game.
