Burgatory

Burgatory is a Pittsburgh-born burger bar with several locations around the region, and its North Shore restaurant is handy before a Steelers or Pirates game. The menu lets you build your own burger or pick a house creation, such as the Piggy Butter & Jelly, a half-beef, half-bacon patty with peanut butter, habanero jelly and candied bacon.

It is lively, family-friendly and known for thick shakes, including boozy versions for adults. Other locations include Waterworks near Fox Chapel, Homestead and McCandless.
