Dyer's Burgers

Dyer's is the Memphis burger with a story everyone knows. The patties are smashed thin with a wooden mallet and deep-fried in grease the restaurant says traces back to 1912. Food & Wine put it on its 2025 list of the top burger spots in the country and called it an original smashburger.

The Beale Street location makes it an easy stop during a night of live music, and there is a second location on the Collierville Square. Try the Double Double if you want the full effect. It is rich, greasy and exactly what you come here for.
