Gami Burger comes from the owners of Origami Asian Grill and focuses on smash burgers with a few Japanese-inspired twists. The house Gami burger stacks two smashed patties with American cheese, housemade sunomono pickles and a secret sauce on a brioche bun, and togarashi-dusted fries are the side to get.
The first shop opened in Carmichael in 2025, and the Midtown location on K Street took over the former Burger Patch space. It is a strong pick if you want a modern smash burger with a little extra personality.
