Honolulu Burger Co.

Honolulu Burger Co. builds its menu around local, grass-fed, hormone-free Hawaii beef, and that focus on island-raised meat is what sets it apart. Burgers come with sauteed onions, local lettuce, tomato and house dressing, and the Blue Hawaiʻi adds blue cheese.

It was one of four burgers in KHON2's 2025 Honolulu taste test, where one taster ranked it first. The Beretania Street shop is the original, and there is a second location on Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki. Either one is a good stop if you want to taste what local beef brings to a burger.
