Our Take
New West Cafe is a low-key bar on Whalley Avenue, west of downtown, that serves burgers and sandwiches at friendly prices. It is the kind of neighborhood bar where the burger is simple and the atmosphere is casual.
It made the 2025 list of the area's highest-rated burger spots, which is a good sign for a place without much fanfare. Go if you want an easygoing bar burger away from the busier downtown blocks, and check hours before you head over.
