Ordinary

Ordinary is a cocktail bar on Chapel Street, right in the middle of downtown New Haven and a short walk from Yale and the Green. It is a drinks-first spot, but its burgers and sandwiches have helped it rank among the area's better-rated burger stops.

Come for a cocktail and a burger in the evening rather than a quick lunch, since the drinks are a big part of the appeal. It pairs well with a show at one of the nearby theaters or a walk around the Yale campus.
