Sliders Burger

Despite the name, Sliders Burger serves full-size burgers. This small throwback shop on West San Carlos Street grinds USDA Choice chuck in-house and cooks patties on a revolving charbroiler, then lets you finish your burger at a self-serve condiment bar.

The other draw is the protein list: bison, elk and ostrich patties sit alongside beef, so it is a fun stop for anyone curious about game meat. A half-pound beef burger or a double is the move if you are hungry. Expect a casual, no-frills room.
