Urban Roots Brewery & Smokehouse

Urban Roots Brewery & Smokehouse is best known for barbecue and house beer, but its burger earns a place on local must-try lists. The appeal is a carefully cooked patty and good ingredients, served in a casual brewery setting.

This is a smart pick for a group where some people want brisket and others want a burger. Pair it with one of the brewery's beers and make an afternoon of it. It also gives you a different side of the Sacramento burger scene than the classic stands.
